Neil Hulme

BA (Hons)   LlDip

Appointed Senior Postholder and SMT member of an FE College in his early 20’s, Neil has over 20 years SMT experience gained in Colleges in London, the North East and the Midlands.  An experienced consultant with detailed knowledge of options appraisal, merger and acquisition he is also Non-Executive Director on the boards of 3 Training Providers .  A strategic thinker who has also led two Training Providers as well as the Funding, Curriculum Performance, Leadership and Internal Audit functions of a large national professional services company.

David Nolan

Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy and Institute of Directors

David has more than 30 years’ experience in providing consultancy and advisory services to Schools, Colleges and Universities. He has a national reputation in college/university recoveries. David has been appointed by the DfES and FEFC/LSC on key assignments of national importance.  David has had a major delivery role, in particular with recovery work and has been the lead advisor on key mergers.

Clive Blanchette

Cert. Ed.  B.A. (Hons.)   M.A.  &  MBA.

A former Deputy Head of a secondary school Clive established a successful training organisation which he was subsequently acquired by a College.  A consultant with 15 years of experience Clive is a current and registered inspector who has conducted over 150 inspections in organisations including Colleges and Training Providers.  Clive’s focus is on organisational improvement with inspection preparation, self assessment, improving teaching and learning, equality and diversity and safeguarding, being his primary areas of expertise.

Bob Busby

M.Sc. B.Sc. Dip.Man. Cert.Ed. C.Eng.

Bob served as Her Majesty’s Inspector with the Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted) for nine years after previously being employed as an education inspector within the Adult Learning Inspectorate (ALI). Bob is a current and active inspector and has led, assisted and participated in over 400 inspections in further education and skills providers including colleges, adult and community learning, workbased learning and prison education as well as inspecting safeguarding arrangements.

Kevin Dowson

Cert Ed, BA Hons, MA – Inspection & Evaluation, Fellow Society for Education/ Training

Kevin has been involved in the FE and Skills sector for 20 years in every conceivable role from tutor to inspector! He has worked with, and for, independent training providers, employer providers, colleges, adult and community learning, awarding organisations and funding bodies. He has been involved in inspection since 1999 as an associate and full-time inspector with the Adult Learning Inspectorate and continues to inspect as an additional inspector. Having been involved in over 150 inspections, his focus is now inspection preparation, self-assessment and quality improvement.

Anthony Bromirski

Anthony is an empowering and accomplished Education Business Leader & Executive Board Member. He started his career as an apprentice and progressed through training and assessment roles into quality, operational and wider senior roles.  He has over 20 years’ experience in the education, skills and apprenticeship sector, along with the last 12 years in senior roles across 3 large national providers. Anthony has a proven track record at a strategic and operational level in business transformation, funding, data, audit and programme leadership.  His experience also includes being the nominee on several occasions, including a provider assessed as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted.

Andrea Hulme

As our Client Manager, Andrea is pivotal to the smooth running of the Solvendis Client Centre in Wolverhampton.  After a lengthy career in Local Government, Andrea joined Solvendis early in 2019 and now acts as the glue which holds the increasing number of parts in our operation together. Andrea also has lead responsibility for our thriving seminar programme which has grown to become one of the largest and most respected CPD programmes in the sector.
